Sweet Grass aka Angel Grass.

This is one of my favorite things to burn immediately after burning sage!  It is has a sweet, long-lasting aroma. Mostly used by many Native American tribes in prayer, smudging or purifying ceremonies and is considered a sacred plant. Sweetgrass braids smolder and do not produce an open flame when burned. Just as the sweet scent of this natural grass is attractive and pleasing to people, so is it attractive to good energies. Angels love this stuff! Sweetgrass is often burned at the beginning of a prayer or ceremony to attract positive energies.
